Today, I’m talking to Carly from Sydney, Australia who started working with me in June 2020. I’ve brought her on because I want to share what transpired for her in the six months we worked together. She had really profound results after a year of hesitation. She was doing busy work for the sake of being busy and using up time...and then beat herself up over not getting everything on her daily to-do list done. In this episode, we discuss how she turned it around and learn to set boundaries for herself.
6:08 - The big problem Carly discovered when she first started
11:24 - Carly taking responsibility for what was happening at work
16:23 - How data (and a figurative face slap) led to a promotion and pay raise
19:36 - Why high-functioning women constantly throw themselves under the bus
25:43 - Where the energy behind drive or ambition really comes from
31:15 - What drives Lisa a little crazy in the coaching world
36:39 - The ultimate lesson Carly learned about herself

A while back, I did an episode about my alter ego Tylere and even read a bit from the document I created for her back in 2016. When I wrote that document, I couldn’t see how it’d come to fruition, nor did I really believe it ever would. But after my WBFF show, I realize that I’ve fully embraced and become that alter ego to the point where I don’t even need one anymore. Today I want to talk a little bit about your alter ego and using it to serve you and help you move forward.
3:06 - The biggest selling point of writing your alter ego document
4:35 - Why red lipstick came to symbolize my alter ego
7:33 - Example questions to think about as you consider your alter ego
12:02 - The commonality between your alter ego and dressing up as a kid
15:07 - How I reminded myself to ask what my alter ego would do in situations
16:21 - What my alter ego allowed me to understand about myself
20:25 - The only difference between you and me

In this inspiring episode #236 of the Full Frontal Living™ podcast, Lisa shares her perspective on a common but limiting pattern of thinking – the "when-then" mindset.
Many of us are guilty of postponing our desires and aspirations, waiting for the "perfect moment" or conditions to be met before we give ourselves permission to enjoy what we want.
Lisa draws from personal experiences, revealing how she fell into this trap and how it kept her from realizing her desires, from taking time off to making long-awaited purchases.
Lisa dives into the topic of self-acknowledgment, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and honoring one's own achievements. She also discusses the fallacy of waiting for the "perfect" condition to seek help or support, and how immediate action can accelerate your progress towards your goals.
What is one 'when-then' belief you're ready to let go of? How will you say 'YES' to yourself and bring what you desire into your life today?
There are still two spots left in the Full Frontal Living Collective 6-Month Container that’s launching in September 2023. The Collective is designed to help individuals overcome their struggles, live the life they want, and bring more peace, ease, and energy into their lives. Lisa is sharing more about her journey of what it means to be committed to what you want instead of staying committed to what you don’t want. If you’re looking to create transformation in your life doing more of the same is going to create more of the same so if you’re not willing to take a stand for YOU, your dreams, your desires, and your growth consider what your life is going to look like a year from now.
Will you be proud of who you’ve become and what you’ve created, or will you be looking back at your year frustrated that you’re still circling around the same stuff that has kept you stuck?

In episode 234 Lisa is sharing her reflections about what it looks like to live a life you're proud of and how much energy it costs to stay stuck in fear, worry, doubt and feeling unfulfilled.
If you were to die tomorrow, would you be proud of how you lived? Would you look at your life and feel happy about the choices you made and how you spent your precious time on this earth?
Sometimes we experience pain and discomfort as a slow burn over months and years, and sometimes life changes so quickly that it takes your breath away.
Both provide unique opportunities to re-evaluate your life and take inventory of what's important to you, what you want, and what you might need to let go and leave behind.
When life changes, there is no going back... and moving forward often comes with a tremendous amount of discomfort and grief.
(Episode 230: How to manage your energy when you're navigating grief is a complimentary episode to today)
Staying stuck in frustration, fear, overwhelm, exhaustion, resentment, anger and uncertainty will cost you MORE energy than if you embrace the power of surrender. Surrender and letting go isn't easy for most of the men and women Lisa works with AND it is possible.
It's the key to living a more peaceful life that you can feel proud of at the end of the day.
If you feel like you're not living into your potential and struggle with letting go, this episode is for you.
