In this inspiring episode #236 of the Full Frontal Living™ podcast, Lisa shares her perspective on a common but limiting pattern of thinking – the "when-then" mindset.
Many of us are guilty of postponing our desires and aspirations, waiting for the "perfect moment" or conditions to be met before we give ourselves permission to enjoy what we want.
Lisa draws from personal experiences, revealing how she fell into this trap and how it kept her from realizing her desires, from taking time off to making long-awaited purchases.
Lisa dives into the topic of self-acknowledgment, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and honoring one's own achievements. She also discusses the fallacy of waiting for the "perfect" condition to seek help or support, and how immediate action can accelerate your progress towards your goals.
What is one 'when-then' belief you're ready to let go of? How will you say 'YES' to yourself and bring what you desire into your life today?
There are still two spots left in the Full Frontal Living Collective 6-Month Container that’s launching in September 2023. The Collective is designed to help individuals overcome their struggles, live the life they want, and bring more peace, ease, and energy into their lives. Today's episode is an encore of episode 192 of the podcast. Lisa is sharing more about her journey of what it means to be committed to what you want instead of staying committed to what you don’t want.  If you’re looking to create transformation in your life doing more of the same is going to create more of the same so if you’re not willing to take a stand for YOU, your dreams, your desires, and your growth consider what your life is going to look like a year from now.
Will you be proud of who you’ve become and what you’ve created, or will you be looking back at your year frustrated that you’re still circling around the same stuff that has kept you stuck?

In episode 234 Lisa is sharing her reflections about what it looks like to live a life you're proud of and how much energy it costs to stay stuck in fear, worry, doubt and feeling unfulfilled.
If you were to die tomorrow, would you be proud of how you lived? Would you look at your life and feel happy about the choices you made and how you spent your precious time on this earth?
Sometimes we experience pain and discomfort as a slow burn over months and years, and sometimes life changes so quickly that it takes your breath away.
Both provide unique opportunities to re-evaluate your life and take inventory of what's important to you, what you want, and what you might need to let go and leave behind.
When life changes, there is no going back... and moving forward often comes with a tremendous amount of discomfort and grief.
(Episode 230: How to manage your energy when you're navigating grief is a complimentary episode to today)
Staying stuck in frustration, fear, overwhelm, exhaustion, resentment, anger and uncertainty will cost you MORE energy than if you embrace the power of surrender. Surrender and letting go isn't easy for most of the men and women Lisa works with AND it is possible.
It's the key to living a more peaceful life that you can feel proud of at the end of the day.
If you feel like you're not living into your potential and struggle with letting go, this episode is for you.

In this episode, Lisa speaks with Jose Perez, a personal trainer, and online fitness coach who shares his inspiring journey from property management to the fitness industry. After realizing that his previous career didn't bring him happiness, Jose made the courageous decision to leave his job and prioritize his health. He fell into fitness, starting with a focus on his own well-being, and eventually transitioned into becoming a personal trainer. Jose highlights the importance of making decisive life choices and following the breadcrumbs that lead to personal growth and fulfillment.
Virtual training became a game-changer for Jose and his clients, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic. By leveraging technology and conducting sessions via platforms like Zoom, he was able to provide efficient and effective training while saving clients precious time. The convenience of virtual training allows busy professionals, such as CEOs and entrepreneurs, to prioritize their health without sacrificing their demanding schedules. Jose emphasizes the vital role that health plays in the overall success and urges listeners to understand that taking care of oneself is essential for achieving personal and professional goals.
Jose emphasizes the importance of structure, discipline, and training in achieving success, both in fitness and in life.
They also address the common misconceptions and complications surrounding fitness and nutrition. Jose emphasizes that effective training doesn't have to be complicated and time-consuming, debunking the belief that one needs hours in the gym to achieve results. They discuss the possibility of completing a comprehensive workout within just 25 to 30 minutes with smart programming.
The conversation then shifts to the challenges people face in prioritizing their health and the lack of personal responsibility seen in society. Lisa questions why individuals are resistant to taking charge of their own well-being, especially when it comes to their physical health. They both stress the importance of making time for oneself and the need to overcome the mentality of putting everything and everyone else before personal health.
Additionally, they address the complex relationship many people have with food and how it often becomes an emotional crutch or a source of struggle. They advocate for changing the mindset around food, viewing it as fuel for the body rather than a source of emotional comfort. They provide practical strategies for simplifying nutrition.
In conclusion, Lisa and Jose discuss the societal pressure and expectations placed on women as they age, highlighting the need to challenge these norms and strive for vibrant health and vitality throughout life. They emphasize that investing in one's health now will pay off in the long run, enabling individuals to maintain their physical abilities and enjoy life to the fullest as they age.

In episode 230 Lisa dives into the topic of grief and the stages anyone who's experienced or experiencing loss will navigate. Loss doesn't always mean death. It can be your kids growing up and leaving home, or a significant life event that changes your circumstances, or maybe the death of a dream or vision you've been holding. Regardless, it's not an emotional state that leaves you feeling energized, and for most to move out of grief and into acceptance and peace takes time. Today's episode will give you tips to care for your physical and emotional wellbeing so that you can preserve the energy you have so that you can heal.
What most don't understand is that healing requires massive amounts of energy. You will need more rest, and it's not because you're being lazy, your body requires it to feel better. Transformational work, digging into old stories and traumas so that you can free yourself and create a better life will probably make you feel worse before you feel better AND it also ensures that you will find your way out of suffering and into acceptance and peace.
As always, Lisa shares her process and what she's experiencing as she navigates a season of grief and letting go in the hopes it will make your journey feel a little less lonely.

In episode 229 Lisa shares her recent trip to Disney and the strategies she uses while travelling to maintain her energy when it comes to nutrition. In a time when more people are committed to avoiding illness than being committed to creating wellness for themselves, taking responsibility for your eating behaviors is a radical act. Eating on the road doesn't need to feel hard or be hard, but it comes down to choice and your attitude about it. Lisa shares her perspective on why taking responsibility for your choices on the road matters and the cost of putting your health last on your priority list. If you want to value your health and wellness, then your actions and habits must align with that value, otherwise what you're saying is you DON'T value your wellness.
When you take a vacation from your life but not your healthy lifestyle, you'll always have energy to burn.

Are you BUSY? Most of the women Lisa works with are juggling many balls and spinning way too many plates however it doesn't need to be this way. If you want to have more time and energy in today's episode 228 Lisa is sharing a tool she uses with many of her clients to determine what specifically is keeping them so busy.
You may not yet even realize how many busy things you're in the habit of doing which means you're operating on autopilot and not being intentional with your time or energy. You always have the power to choose how you're spending your time however, first, it takes an awareness of where and how you're spending time and energy so that you can make adjustments. Many of you stay stuck in circumstances and allow life to run you instead of it being the other way around because you're not looking at what you can change. Living from "it is what it is" will keep you on the hamster wheel of life and not feeling empowered.
To change your life you must first take an honest look at what you're so busy with and today's episode will empower you to get honest and take responsibility for your time and energy.
